Your Mission (should you choose to accept it) is to make it to Friday by any means necessary! Here are 3 things to help you make that happen:
1. Adult Coloring Books – This concept may seem a bit juvenile, but let me tell you that adult coloring books have saved me from losing my mind in the work place! Coloring helps calm and de-stress the mind, think of it as meditation but with colored pencils.
2. Pokémon Go – AKA go outside and walk people! I can’t stress enough the importance of fresh air! So, grab a sandwich in one hand, grip your phone in the other, and catch some amazing Pokémon along the way.
3. Just take a nap already! – When all else fails, go sit in your car or under your desk and get your life, hontey! Studies show that ‘Adult Naps’ (15-20 min) can improve memory, focus, and creativity. I know I can’t be the only one who’s taken a break room nap or two.
I challenge you to try at least one suggestion to help you power through this work week. Remember, the reward for a great week worked is a great weekend!
